A worldwide leader in engineered wood products are setting up new services operations in India, and we now require a highly committed:

Main duties and responsibilities

We are looking for a hard-working, organised individual with a high degree of trustworthiness and initiative, to research, plan, and develop an IT Service Centre business from start-up;

• Manage the finances - prepare a business plan, manage budgets, enforce cost effectiveness. Responsible for P&L and cash flow of the Service Centre;

• You will have full accountability and managerial responsibility of the Service Centre to ensure 1st class service delivery to international companies. You'll develop and implement robust procedures and administrative systems across all areas of the operations;

• Introduce and manage internal controls over all aspects of financial systems, centre administration and service delivery;

• Ensure all local laws, regulations, governance and codes are adhered to – taxation, insurance, employment laws, reporting and data security;

• Responsible for recruiting and leading the team, ensuring that they perform to the highest standards. Allocate resources and manage team productivity to meet objectives and deadlines;

• Being the point of contact for shareholders. Carry out effective reporting - monthly and ad-hoc;

• Oversee cross the operation, especially commercial areas – Accounting, Purchasing and HR

Requirements

• Highly experienced within an IT services or technology led environment, you will be up to date with the latest ICT technology;

• Educated to degree level in a relevant subject, you will also be skilled at project management, and highly organised;


• Commercially astute, you will have used your excellent accountancy skills to good effect in previous roles;

• You will have strong leadership attributes, with the ability to motivate the team, and willingness to lead by example – have a hand-on attitude;

• Mobility - readiness for extensive travelling will be required;

• Advanced knowledge of English is essential, other European languages would be an advantage
