Kronospan is a world-leading manufacturer of wood-based panels using advanced technology with 125 years history of success with over 50 plants across the globe, and as such, we have pioneered many of our industry's key advances and will continue to lead product development and innovation into the future.

We open the third production plant in Spain, located in Tortosa. With an initial investment of 270 million euros and more than 180 direct jobs. The group will invest in Tortosa around than 500 million euros in the coming years and reach at least 300 employees. This new Greenfield location will help us to expand our European operations and explore new and emerging markets.

From the Human Resources department of Kronospan, we look for incorporate an Environmental Technician who reports directly to the HSE Manager in Tortosa.

Main duties and responsibilities

· Support compliance with the requirements established in the Integrated Environmental Authorization and other legal requirements.
· Management of environmental inspections required by current legislation (emissions to the atmosphere, water and noise).
· Waste management in the plant. Search of suppliers.
· Management of waste documents.
· Control and monitoring of the operation of wastewater treatment plants. Study, analysis and implementation of improvements in the process.
· Data processing to calculate greenhouse gas emissions.
· Support in the management of requirements related to GHG.
· Support in calculating the carbon footprint.
· Supervision of the cleaning and sanitation of drainage and stormwater networks.

Requirements

We are looking for a person with communication skills, experience in teamwork and in dynamic areas. With more than 5 years of demonstrable experience.

- Studies: Environmental Sciences or Chemical Engineering or related with specialization in Environmental Management.
- English: high level.
- 5 years of experience, preferably in an industrial environment.
- On-site work at the Tortosa factory.
