The Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing the movement, distribution, and storage of materials in the organization. This position controls the flow of incoming materials and outgoing finished products to ensure customers receive products on time. The Logistics Manager oversees the warehouses, inventory control, material handling, customer service, transportation, Hazmat/Dot training and regulations and Shipping personnel. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, hire, and train and evaluate employees, prepare employee schedules, and ensure transportation, warehousing and distribution employees follow all safety rules. The position may prepare reports for upper management, negotiate shipping and supplier costs, and work to improve efficiency of the company's supply chain.

What you will do here: Candidates in the Profiling Lift Truck Operator position will perform tasks including the safe, efficient operation of a forklift and all associated equipment in the Profiling area that is used for the movement of materials and finished goods throughout the warehouse and distribution areas. Additionally, the operator will be required to perform routine maintenance and cleaning on all machinery involved, understand and use computer software related to the operation of the profiling area, identify conditions, and offer occasional assistance to maintenance personnel and machine operators in the troubleshooting, repair, or preventive maintenance of equipment on the production line.

What You Need to Succeed: • High School diploma or G.E.D. certificate • Qualities like the ability to multitask, work under stress, provide detailed work, use good judgment, problem solve, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed. • The ability to operate a fork truck to transfer and load/unload raw materials at the press in-feed area • The ability successfully meet the physical demands of the position • Have a self-motivated and directed attitude, organized, with a keen attention to detail • Ability to dependably work a rotating shift schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
