Kronospan are the leading wood panel board manufacturer, with our UK operations being based in Wrexham, North Wales.
We're known for delivering exceptional products and creating long-lasting relationships with our clients. With a strong history of growth and opportunity, we are now seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team, focusing specifically on House Building and Construction.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing sector, where your expertise in building materials and construction will be key to driving business success.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to sell building materials and secure specifications within the House Building sector.
• Demonstrate success in building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the house building and construction industries.
• Negotiate and close deals with decision makers, ensuring the delivery of profitable agreements.
• Work closely with Area Sales Managers and key supply chain partners to drive successful outcomes.
• Bring a strategic mindset and market insight to identify growth opportunities and deliver on targets.
• Utilise your strong understanding of construction methods, both on-site and off-site, to provide valuable insights and solutions to clients.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Business Development or sales within the House Building or Construction sector, with a track record of success in selling building materials or gaining specifications.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and processes, both on and off-site.
• Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals at a senior level.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• A strategic thinker with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
