Kronospan is a world-leading manufacturer of wood-based panels using advanced technology with 125 years history of success with over 50 plants across the globe, and as such, we have pioneered many of our industry's key advances and will continue to lead product development and innovation into the future.

We open the third production plant in Spain, located in Tortosa. With an initial investment of 270 million euros and more than 180 direct jobs. The group will invest in Tortosa around than 500 million euros in the coming years and reach at least 300 employees. This new Greenfield location will help us to expand our European operations and explore new and emerging markets.

From the Human Resources department of Kronospan, we look for incorporate a Deputy Laboratory and Quality Manager who reports directly to the CEO and coordinates the lab operators of Burgos and Salas de los Infantes plants.

Main duties and responsibilities

-Take samples of the raw materials that enter the factory, as well as the intermediate and final products in the factory's production facilities.
-Preparation and analysis of raw materials, intermediate and finished products following the methodology established for each case.
-Control and coordinate the Quality Control Laboratory regarding raw materials, products and processes, verifying the development and application of Quality regulations.
-Develop and maintain the Quality System under the objectives implemented by senior management, preparing and managing quality documents and certificates, as well as monitoring compliance with the company's Quality Policy.

Functions to be performed by the technical staff:
- Take samples of the raw materials that enter the factory.
- Take samples of intermediate and final products in the production facilities of the factories.
- Preparation and analysis of raw materials, intermediate and finished products following the methodology established for each case.
- Take samples and inspect finished and semi-finished products.
- Enter the results of the analyzes into the corresponding databases.

Requirements

We are looking for a person with communication skills, experience in teamwork and in dynamic areas. With more than 5 years of demonstrable experience.

- Studies: Degree in Chemistry.
- English: high level.
- Experience in industrial environments
