Main duties and responsibilities

The primary purpose of the ERP / EDI Analyst is to support the business departments and managers in analysing, defining and designing new and existing business opportunities with the goal to provide effective business solutions within the scope of the ERP application as well as develop, coordinate, implement, manage, and oversee all ERP / EDI-related developments, transmissions and interfaces between the Company and the customer. Duties include but are not limited to (note - KSoft is a proprietary ERP system):

• Manage business projects and expectations, which include defining solutions and processes to support the growth of Kronopan's business, using Ksoft and ancillary systems
• Analyze business needs and apply Ksoft functionality, assist business users in the use of the business system, suggest improvements, assist in fact-findings and act as a business solution provider
• Work with outside support vendors, coordinating issue resolution efforts
• Act as Kronospan's Business system expert in general and the lead in the supported business area specifically. Alert business managers when there are problems with processes, data integrity, or other business problems.
• Receive and respond to incoming calls and/or e-mails regarding system problems
• Assist the user community by in-person, hands-on visits when required
• Responsible for analyzing and designing specifications used for enhancements and extensions in EDI applications, interfaces and mapping.
• Serves as the primary link between the Company and any data-trading partners.
• Review and analyze customer vendor requirements for process changes, compliance tracking and/or new business development needs.
• Work with employees at all levels of the organization to support accurate, proper data exchanges within the organization.
• Analyses data and recommends continuous improvement activities to drive value and performance for business leaders
• Responsible for the oversight of all EDI testing, implementations, and upgrades.

Candidates must have 3 or more years experience in System administration. Experience with large retailers a plus.
