Main duties and responsibilities

• Be the first person to welcome new starters in to the business, providing them with a conclusive induction, ensuring compliance with all Kronospan EH&S standards.
• Administer and control all training information on site, developing a robust recoding system is in place.
• Develop, deliver and evaluate, in partnership with the EHS and management teams, a comprehensive annual compliance training plan to ensure mandatory standards are met and maintained
• Work with the HR team to signpost, coach and educate line managers in the many tools and resources available to help them be effective people managers
• Coordinate training sessions with external suppliers and departmental managers to ensure appropriate training is delivered, attended and recorded centrally.
• Provide direction and guidance to Operational Trainers on what's required on the site training plan and skills matrix, regularly reviewing progress and attainment against the plan
• Partner and support individuals on internally recognised development pathways.
• Control the site training budget and ensure that it's spent effectively to meet the needs across site.

Requirements

• Minimum 12 months experience in a similar role
• Proficient in English, other languages would be advantageous
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office package
• Excellent attention to detail and a passion for driving improvements in training
• Must be able to meet tight deadlines
• Have experience of developing and delivering in-house training courses
• A degree-level qualification is desirable but not essential, experience will be key to this position.
