We open our third production plant in Spain, located in Tortosa. With an initial investment of 270 million euros and more than 180 direct jobs. The group will invest in Tortosa around than 500 million euros in the coming years and reach at least 300 employees. This new Greenfield location will help us to expand our European operations and explore new and emerging markets.

Main duties and responsibilities

The Logistics Manager coordinates the receiving, storage, and distribution of all finished products manufactured at or received by the Iberian facilities. The position is responsible for the proper, safe, and secure location of products in the warehouse. The position is also responsible for on-time shipments, safety, housekeeping, and quality in the areas of responsibility. The position oversees daily operational activities related to logistics, including international and domestic shipments and manages the methods for tracking all domestic, import and export orders shipped and ordered. The position is responsible for all internal and third party logistics and transportation activities including product movement between locations, domestic markets and international locations. The position also drives continuous improvement in carrier performance, including carriers managed by 3PLs.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of MS Office (must be very strong in Excel knowledge)
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Management or related field or equivalent experience
• 5+ years in a fast paced shipping department, preferably in a manufacturing setting


• Ability to work without direct supervision
• Ability to make thoughtful time management decisions independently.
• Ability to prioritize work, resolve issues, meet deadlines, and seek feedback from management. Discern between urgent and non-urgent issues and act accordingly to solve them.
• Expertise in collecting, analyzing and managing quantitative data and creating meaningful reports to lead business improvement and cost reductions
• Experience in root cause analysis and uncovering core issues using data, then assisting in improving processes
• Experience in working with data providers and IT to ensure that key decision data is accurate, automated and timely
• Strong attention to detail
• Near perfect attendance record
• Must have strong leadership skills
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities
• Must be a team player and have the ability to work and interact with associates/departments throughout the organization
