Main duties and responsibilities

Kronospan has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join the team based in Chirk, North Wales. This is a full time, permanent position offering a very competitive salary.

The Marketing Manager main duties and responsibilities:

Responsible for all marketing and sales promotions activities, to develop Kronospan's market presence and perception, in line with European Group Marketing strategies, plans and objectives, ultimately assisting to increase sales and volume in the UK market.

• Develop sales literature, specifically; KronoDesign ,KronoBuild and Kronooriginal product Catergories in line with Kronospan global strategy
• Liaise with trade publications and journalists to ensure positive consistent relationships are upheld to ascertain affirmative exposure
• Manage external marketing via creative and public relations agencies
• Develop a strategy for maximising the benefit from Kronospan's presence at Trade Shows
• Carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys
• Build relationships with customers, to develop formulation of their décor, range selections and marketing support
• Develop a digital / social media strategy in the UK
• Develop and Liaise with London design centre Management to promote Kronospan to Architects and Specifiers
• Manage Chirk Design Centre
• Recruit and Develop Marketing Assistants
New Product Development:
• Working with our Group designers; developing and helping them asses market trends
• Range development (including complementary products)
• Drive range/design launches for KronoDesign, KronoBuild and KronoOriginal
• Identify key market data relating to substitute products – understand threats


• Communications, Marketing or Business Administration Graduate with a minimum 5 years' demonstrable marketing experience on a national or international level
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills
• The ability and willingness to work after hours in the evenings or over weekends
• Familiarity with social media development strategies and online content marketing
• An exceptional level of attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Skills to analyse and monitor trends in the market
