Main duties and responsibilities

This position is responsible for building and maintaining sales relationships with assigned customers of Kronospan in Canada. In particular, the National Accounts Manager will focus on growing market share with assigned customers for flooring products produced domestically in N.A. This role will build, manage and execute joint business plans with the customer and work collaboratively with internal and external teams. Customer focus may be on large box retailers and/or the distribution channel and independent retailers. In addition, the position may support/develop the sale of imported flooring products throughout the Canadian market. This position's target is to maximize customer service and profits for the company through the use of technical, organizational, and customer knowledge.


Requirements of the position include, but are not limited to:
• Must have a basic understanding of flooring production technology and processes
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication / presentation skills
• Must have excellent customer relations skills including customer response, service improvement, and the ability and willingness to keep commitments
• Must display original thinking and creativity through resourcefulness, suggestions, and problem solving
• Must be able to effectively interact in a multi-cultural environment
• Must have excellent math skills including the ability to compute rates, ratios, and percents as well as to create and interpret graph and chart information
