Main duties and responsibilities

Learn to safely operate the PB sanding/finishing equipment to produce PB panels to required specifications. The PB Finishing Line Operator Trainee must also learn to act as the lead contact person in the Finishing Area with the authority to give instructions under the direction of the PB Finishing Leader. Additionally, the Trainee will be required to perform basic, routine equipment maintenance and cleaning on all machinery and workspaces in the assigned area of responsibility. Further duties may include assisting maintenance personnel, when requested, in the troubleshooting, repair, or preventive maintenance of equipment in order to support continuous operations on the production line.

Requirements

. Perfect or near-perfect attendance record
. Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred
. This is a rotating shift position
