For our newly established design center located in Budapest, we are looking for an ambitious, experienced and committed: Design Center Manager

Main duties and responsibilities

- Planning and preparing interior designs and furnishing layouts
- Assisting customers—both by appointment and on a walk-in basis—with their selections, utilizing suggestive selling techniques
- Communicating with other departments, external companies, partners, and industry professionals regarding projects
- Continuously improving sales skills and product knowledge to promote a professional brand image
- Collaborating with other branch staff to ensure excellent customer service—from the initial project or concept through to delivery and beyond—and supporting other marketing activities
- Actively participating in the organization of events and other promotional activities (including the Design Center grand opening event)
- Managing overall workflow organization and planning
- Leading and supervising staff at the Budapest Design Center
- Reporting

Requirements

- Finished university / college studies, preferably in architecture or interior design
- 5-10 years experience in similar field
- Marketing experience is an advantage
- Fluent Hungarian AND English, another European language knowledge is an asset
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Professional attitude with a persuasive, kind and positive personality
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD 3D, 3ds Max, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and V-Ray 3.6 for SketchUp
- During the training phase extensive travel required before the Design Center opening (3-4 months product training in Szombathely / Mohács, and in other European sites and Design Centers)
- Capability of working independently, high tolerance of stress level
- Highly self-motivated personality with a can-do attitude
- Efficiency at work; problem solving skills
