Main duties and responsibilities

Located at our UK base in Chirk, Wrexham, we have an exciting opportunity for a Sustainability Graduate to join the senior management team at a fast-paced, dynamic organisation. This role is based in Chirk however, where required, international travel will be necessary on occasion.

Responsibilities include:
• The right candidate will provide support with all aspects of Sustainability within the business at the Chirk site, with a view to identifying best practice and implementing across various sites at a large scale organisational level
• Provide support with generating models and publishing Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for all products across Kronospan Group
• Preparation of Customer Sustainability presentations and any sustainability-related marketing materials
• Provide internal training for various Sustainability related topics
• Supporting and compiling data for the annual Chirk ESG report
• Support with maintaining the site's timber Chain of Custody certification

Requirements

• Degree qualified, in the sustainability/environmental sciences field
• You must have a passion for continuous improvement and a clear passion for sustainable manufacturing
• Creative and persuasive with a keen eye for detail, your written and verbal presentation skills will be second to none. You will possess strong communication, leadership and negotiation skills
• Dynamic, ability to adapt to a rapidly changing field
• With a passionate and energetic outlook, you will be an ambitious individual who is dedicated to the role
