Senior Accountant

Main duties and responsibilities

Responsibilities of the Role
- Financial and payroll accounting of various entities
- Monthly and annual financial statements including cash flow statements
- Tax computations and forecasts
- VAT declarations
- Tax declarations
- Communication with authorities, auditors, tax advisors
- Supervision of junior accountants
- Preparation of quarterly reports for board meetings

Requirements

- You will have strong accountancy skills, ideally having already achieved a recognized accountancy qualification – ACA / CIMA / CPA or Bilanzbuchhalter / Steuerberater (German qualifications)
- With a keen eye for detail, your will be commercially astute and be an accomplished problem solver
- Detailed knowledge of Varial and MS-Office packages is essential
- Previous experience of consolidation accounting is advantageous
- Strong English language skills are vital for the role holder
- Previous experience of working at Kronospan is favorable
