Located at our UK base in Chirk, Wrexham, we have an exciting opportunity for a Communications Advocacy Officer to join the senior management team at a fast-paced, dynamic Organisation. This is global role where regular international travel will be required.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Develop communication strategies and ensure outcomes are aligned to the Kronospan‘s key messages

• Ensure accurate, clear, concise and compelling content for multiple communication channels such as media releases, marketing materials and correspondance to stakeholders such as regulatory authorities, government departments, and financial organsations

• Ensure all communication activity is legally complient

• To lead an effective programme of advocacy work locally, regionally, nationally and internationally

• Forge relationships with journalists and key influencers to ensure the organisation achieves its goals

Requirements

• Degree qualified, you will be a commercially astute, experienced journalist, specialising in business, economics and politics. Previous experienced of ESG and corporate sustainability is advantageous

• You must be a results oriented individual, able to demonstrate at least 3 years of achieving targets in a high-paced environment

• Creative and persuasive with a keen eye for detail, your written and verbal presentation skills will be second to none. You will possess strong communication, leadership and negotiation skills

• With a passionate and energetic outlook, you will be an ambitious individual who is dedicated to the role
