The Bank holds a full banking license issued by the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) and focuses on corporate lending and investment management.
As part of Kronospan's financial ecosystem, ECCM Bank plays a key role in supporting the group's global operations.
We are looking for a motivated and experienced IT Manager who is ready to relocate to Malta and take on a key role in managing security, technology risk, and IT operations within our dynamic and growing organization.

📍 Location: Sliema, Malta

Main duties and responsibilities

• Overseeing security and technology risk management through test plan execution.
• Performing continuous security risk assessments and operational security controls.
• Acting as a key contact for defining policies and procedures related to security and technology.
• Providing strategic security guidance to IT operations.
• Supporting and advising departments on security and IT matters.
• Coordinating security and technology changes with internal and external stakeholders.
• Developing and monitoring security and technology-related KPIs.
• Conducting regular training and awareness campaigns on security and technology topics.
• Assessing regulatory changes and ensuring compliance within local processes.
• Evaluating existing and new suppliers from a security and technology perspective.
• Leading IT projects to ensure compliance with the Bank's requirements, delivering within scope, time, budget, and quality standards.
• Maintaining the Bank's website and various domains

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of security standards (e.g., ISO, BAIT, DORA, MaRisk, NIST, ITIL).
• At least 10 years of experience in IT leadership, security, risk management, compliance, or audit—preferably in banking or financial services.
• Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with Data Quality Management and Financial Reporting (BCBS 239, CRR, SOX).
• Fluency in English (German or any other language is a plus).
